EXCiPACT Launches Revised 2025 Standard for Pharmaceutical Excipient Certification
EXCiPACT asbl Launches Revised 2025 Standard for Pharmaceutical Excipient Certification
EXCiPACT asbl is proud to announce the official launch of the 2025 revision of the EXCiPACT Certification Standard, replacing the previous 2021 edition. This updated standard reflects the latest regulatory expectations, global supply chain challenges, and advances in quality and risk management for pharmaceutical excipient suppliers.
Developed through extensive stakeholder consultation and in alignment with international regulatory frameworks, the 2025 EXCiPACT Standard provides a robust, globally recognized framework for third-party certification of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and Good Warehousing Practices (GWP) for pharmaceutical excipients.
Note : As the changes to the standards are minor, then excipient suppliers and certifying bodies will have 12 months to become fully compliant.
In the meantime, any scheduled audits can continue to use the 2021 edition of the standard, but it is expected that all audits after 1st September 2026 will use the new edition.
